Freeport’s famous International Bazaar and Port Lucaya shops take the term duty-free seriously. Boutiques specialize in a wide range of products, from perfumes and imported beauty products, to crystal, china and silver, to watches, cameras and electronics

Prices here are well below those found in most world markets, and at least 40% lower than in the United States.

Snorkeling
A Snorkeler’s Delight! From a beginner to pro, we take you to a live coral reef where you lay on the surface of our crystal clear water and see a multitude of tropical fish. Adventure includes gear and flotation. Duration is 1 ½ hours.

Deep Sea Fishing
Here in the Bahamas you can experience the fantasy of the world’s best sports fishermen! This is the ultimate thrill of Atlantic deep-water sports fishing aboard a variety of professionally captained and fully equipped sport-fisherman yachts. A tremendous variety of game fish abound in almost any season, including sailfish, barracuda, snapper, grouper, dolphin and even the wily shark.

Vessels range from 34-feet to 42-feet and while all are inspected and licensed by Bahamian authorities, we insist that they meet or exceed United States Coast Guard regulations for charter vessels. They are air-conditioned and have excellent comforts for those who choose to spend their time lounging on deck instead of catching the fighting fish!

Dolphin Experience
A close up encounter with the most fascinating animals in the sea, and is an unforgettable experience for all ages. A short ferryboat ride along the south shore will take you to Sanctuary Bay, home of The Dolphin Experience and a pod of Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins.

Once at the facility, you can observe the friendly Atlantic bottlenose dolphins up close and personal. Sit with your feet in the water as the dolphins swim around you, or step into shallow water and touch these amazing animals, take pictures from our observation deck, hear interesting facts about the dolphins and ask questions for our animal care staff.

This highly educational yet fun program is a great way to experience the animals—up close and personal—and provides excellent photo opportunities.

Botanical Gardens
Visit a botanical garden bursting with flowers, palms and friendly parrots. Twelve acres of beauty unsurpassed in all of Grand Bahama, cascading waterfalls, botanical gardens, scenic trails, a petting zoo with animals and tropical birds to feed and take photos with make this attraction a delight for kids of all ages.
