Afternoon on the Bay
The beautiful setting on the Bay is the locale for this tour that
welcomes you to two very fine private homes. Refreshments are
served on the veranda of an 1855 antebellum home listed on The
National Register and overlooking Mobile Bay. Between the homes
we stop in Fairhope for a shopping spree at a quaint cluster of
shops. This tour offers a wonderful gimpse of life along The Eastern
Shore.

U.S.S. Alabama
The tour begins with Battleship Memorial Park giving the history,
legend and lore of the Mobile Bay area. Explore the massive USS
Alabama and Submarine Drum to experience life aboard these mighty
warriors. World War II fighter planes, the A-12 Blackbird
spy plane and other exhibits from Korea, Vietnam and Desert Storm
may be viewed in the Aircraft Pavilion. Well make sure you
are All Aboard for this adventure!

Deep Sea Fishing
Spend a few hours fishing in the beautiful Mobile Bay. Fishing
is for Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheephead, White Trout,

Antiques Travel Show/Downtown Fairhope
Betty Haynie will give us a tour of her shop which has American,
English and French furniture. She can describe different styles
of furniture using LIVE examples and also give tips on detecting
age, alterations, etc. and answering that big question, How
do you know its old? Bring your own photos for a quick
appraisal!

Bellingrath Gardens and Home
This tour takes you to the Bellingrath Gardens during the
peak of the annual Chrysanthemum Floral Display. You will visit
the home and gardens of Coca-Cola bottling pioneer Walter Bellingrath
and view the Bessie Morse Bellingrath Collection of fine antiques.
The home was featured on A & E networks episode of Americas
Castles and is ranked as one of the top three public gardens
of Southern Living Magazine. The worlds largest exhibit
of porcelain sculptures by Edward Marshall Boehm is also included
in the tour.
